StyleSnap terms of use

These terms apply to the StyleSnap – Hover CSS Inspector & Copier browser extension (“StyleSnap”), provided by Matheus Mello, an individual developer based in Portugal (contact: matheus.mello.developer@gmail.com). By installing or using StyleSnap you agree to these terms.

1. Licence

I grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use StyleSnap for your own personal or internal business purposes. You may not resell, sublicense or redistribute the extension, or remove its notices. Third-party components are licensed under their own terms (see the notices included with the extension).

2. Acceptable use

Inspect only pages you are allowed to access. Website code and designs belong to their respective owners; StyleSnap grants no rights to them. Respect copyrights, licences, website terms and privacy when copying or reusing output. Do not use StyleSnap unlawfully or to harm websites or other people.

3. Free features and limits

StyleSnap is free and requires no account, with no usage limit. It provides local computed CSS inspection, pinning and keyboard navigation, and clipboard output as CSS, CSS with descendants and a minimal HTML skeleton, accessible matching :hover declarations, utility classes for supported properties or a JSX style object.

Inspection uses temporary selected-tab access. Browser and store pages may block it, and embedded frame contents are not inspected. Computed CSS approximates authored styles; :hover output skips inaccessible stylesheets and does not reproduce the full cascade. Utility output may need adjustment for your framework. 4. Your rights and responsibilities

You control which data you copy, save or share. Review outputs before use, protect personal or confidential information, and retain it only as long as appropriate. Nothing in these terms limits mandatory consumer rights or any other rights that cannot be waived by law.

5. No warranty

To the extent permitted by law, StyleSnap is provided “as is” and “as available”. Websites vary, and inspection and copied output may be incomplete or incorrect. Availability, compatibility and error-free operation are not guaranteed. Check results before relying on them.

6. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, I am not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of data, profits or business arising from use of StyleSnap. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

7. Changes and termination

I may update the extension and these terms. Material changes will be published on this page with a new effective date. You can stop using StyleSnap at any time by uninstalling it.

8. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by Portuguese law. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence and may bring claims in the courts there. Consumers may also use an alternative dispute resolution entity, such as the Centro Nacional de Informação e Arbitragem de Conflitos de Consumo (CNIACC).
