ContactSift – Email & Phone Extractor

ContactSift is a browser extension for Chrome and Firefox that finds email addresses and phone numbers on the web page you choose. Before scanning, review the in-product disclosure and choose “I agree”; “Decline” keeps scanning off. Agreeing alone does not read a page. After consent, scan by clicking “Scan this page”. It checks and formats phone numbers locally using your selected default country; it does not verify deliverability or ownership. You can select results, copy contact values, export CSV and save contacts locally in named collections, with a total limit of 100 saved contacts.

ContactSift is free and requires no account. It allows five scans per UTC day, resetting at 00:00 UTC. Scans count after page access and scanner execution succeed, even if no contacts are found or filters hide all results; unsupported pages and page-access failures do not consume a scan. Copying, exporting and saving current results do not consume additional scans. Processing and saved contacts stay in your browser.

Firefox is for desktop. Opening Settings from the Firefox popup closes that popup and discards unsaved results.

Scan results stay in popup memory until replaced by another successful scan, the popup closes or consent is withdrawn. “Save selected” stores contacts with their type, value, national phone formatting, surrounding text snippet, source page title, URL (origin and path, without query string or fragment) and discovery timestamp in local extension storage. Copying writes selected contact values to the clipboard; CSV includes source details and discovery time but excludes snippets. Nothing is uploaded or synced by ContactSift. Settings shows the disclosure and lets you withdraw consent to disable scanning, including in an open popup, without deleting saved contacts, clipboard copies or exported files.
