Brace Lens terms of use

Effective date: 8 November 2026

Brace Lens is a free browser extension provided by Matheus Mello. By installing it you agree to these terms.

Licence

Brace Lens is released under the MIT licence included with the extension. You may use, copy, modify and redistribute the software, including commercially, subject to that licence’s copyright and permission notice requirements. These terms do not remove permissions granted by the MIT licence or grant rights in third-party trademarks.

Use and browser behaviour

Automatic viewing uses all-site access. Firefox also modifies eligible top-level HTTP(S) JSON response Content-Type headers; Chrome and Edge do not. Browser restrictions and downloaded responses can prevent automatic viewing. The parsed document is exposed as braceLens in the page console and can be read by page scripts. See the privacy policy for permissions, data handling and controls.

No warranty

Brace Lens is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. Always check important data against the original source.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, I am not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the extension. Nothing here limits rights that cannot be limited under applicable consumer law.

Changes and law

I may update the extension and these terms; the current version is always on this page. These terms are governed by Portuguese law.
